Murder And Other Family Matters

Here’s the newest trailer for Down Terrace, a British crime flick about a family of small-time crooks who have a traitor in their midst. It’s billed as a sort of “Sopranos” meets madcap British film, but the new trailer gives a pretty decent insight into the film’s true nature (full disclosure: I saw this at the Boston Independent Film Festival and came away with mixed feelings — some great performances though).
Regardless, it’s a pretty good trailer, showing just enough to get you interested (and I love the music). It’s also not the laugh fest the early trailers made it out to be, and this one is much better. The film is directed by Ben Wheatley, who co-wrote it with Robin Hill (who also plays the main character).
Unfortunately, at the moment it’s only available on Apple, so click here to watch it, and then head back over here.

That last clip is a great way to end a trailer. I'm in. I actually hope it isn't as funny as some of these reviewers are suggesting. I think the whole "oh British films: they're so quirky" thing has become really old.
