"I wear a Stetson now"

The trailer for the sixth series of “Doctor Who” is up and available for viewing below. Very little plot is betrayed in the trailer, but it manages to encompass everything great about the show in sixty seconds. The Doctor tries to swagger, but is just a bit too dorky to pull it off and has the Stetson hat shot right off of his head. He has a half dozen guns pointed at his head and merely folds his hands and starts issuing orders. And then the lowered voice, the Doctor more deadly the quieter he gets, the whispered intonation, “monsters are real.”
Fantastic.
The series will air in the spring of 2011, with the third episode having been written by Neil Gaiman. Another tidbit of news: Mark Sheppard (who played the phenomenal Romo Lampkin on “Battlestar Galactica”) will be in two episodes.
New version up now. The BBC called in the redcoats on the YouTube version because it in unacceptable for you to watch it anywhere but from their own servers. It’s a kindness really, it makes no difference to you which server we embed from, but now the British taxpayer is shouldering the bandwidth expense instead of the good stockholders of YouTube.-SLW

Mark Sheppard is the go-to Brit bad guy in virtually every US TV show.
Won't he be out of his league when everyone else in the cast has the same evil accent as him?
