'Community' Animated Trailer

For a three year run, Community just might have been the best show on television. I absolutely adored Dan Harmon’s run on that show, and that fourth season was so horrifically bungled without his guidance that I never even finished watching it. I haven’t seen a show plummet from fantastic to terrible with such painful awkwardness since Sorkin left ‘The West Wing’.

I’m aware that some people never saw what the big deal was, and others who found the show pleasant enough but can’t really tell the difference in quality between Harmon and non-Harmon. That’s okay. There are also people who think that cauliflower is edible, so there’s room for all sorts of evil in this world.

In any case, we’ve got a trailer for the fifth season of Community, which lands with a fistful of resurgent Harmon on January 2nd. The trailer is animated, and filled with meta humor involving the absence of Pierce, and the airing of the Olympics. It is everything I love about this show.

I would totally have watched a ‘Community’ cartoon on Saturday mornings when I was a kid.

Here's some Daveed Diggs for you. On Daveed Diggs' digs, actually. That man does things with clothes that should not make sense, but are absolutely perfect. (Go Fug Yourself)

Woody Allen has "so moved on" from his daughter's accusations and says he never even thinks about it. He equates her words about him to a bad review he won't read and comments on how wacky it is that Mia Farrow is his mother-in-law. He is the worst. (Celebitchy)

Not The Worst but still very gross: Leonardo DiCaprio and his Pussy Posse Wolf Pack were on the douche prowl in NYC. (Lainey)

Here are 5 under-the-radar shows. I had never even heard of the first two. (Uproxx)
