I usually don't pay much attention to the whole Down Under region, which is to my detriment. They're some seriously disturbed individuals with a penchant for action-y, heavily violent flicks. SXSW has been a launch pad for several fantastically gory films like The Horseman and The Loved Ones.

Sundance premiered this little gem -- featuring a re-emergence of Guy Pearce -- called Animal Kingdom. Apparently, it's about a family of criminals coming undone when their son rats them out. Dustin seems juiced about this trailer (ummmm ... Air Supply! -- DR), but to me it looks a little pre-fabricated balsa-wood dinosaur parts. However, based on previous experience with underwhelming trailers from Kiwi-Aussie films, this is gonna be pretty incredible. Plus, it's been buzzing like a beard of bees. And we all know that film critics are never hyperbolic.
