Age of Dragons Trailer: What if Moby Dick Were a Dragon? What If Captain Ahab Was Too Old for This Sh*t?

If you’re lucky enough to live in the UK, next week you’ll have the chance to travel to the one screen in all of Britain that is playing Age of the Dragons, a re-imagining of Moby Dick as a dragon starring Danny Glover as Captain Ahab. It should probably go without saying that Vinnie Jones is in this, too. As Stubbs. It also appears that an Iguana with some wings taped on it plays the Great White Dragon. It looks awesomdary!

But don’t worry. If you live in America, Age of Dragons looks just like the sort of dregg-y movie that will be playing on the newly launched Amazon Instant Video before June.

i hate that men in these movies look like they cut their hair with a dull rock, but the women obviously have things such as tweezers and noxzema.

This looks awesome. But then, I liked Reign of Fire so take that with a grain of salt.

They should have used Mastodon's "Leviathan" for the whole soundtrack.

So it's a Robert L. Lippert film?

I'll have you know that the iguana got almost every scene in one take. One take. Except for the big gun-melting shootout bit, and that was only because he couldn't hold the alcohol in his mouth long enough to setup the shot.

Took the little guy about three months to accept the wing apparatus, but after that, it was clear sailing. Telly is one of the greats, he really is.

This looks like ten kinds of retard to me.

@Murtaugh - HA!

It's nice to see Telly making a comeback. His career really fell off after Cheech and Chong's Nice Dreams.

CGI is putting too many Iguanas and Stunt Men out of work.
