"A Thousand Words" Trailer: Christ, Eddie Murphy. Is There a Butthole You Can Hide In? How About Your Own?

Does Eddie Murphy and Adam Sandler have the same agent now? Is there some sort of evil high-concept device that spits out these movie scripts? And has someone set the dial to World Destruction?

A Thousand Words, directed by Brian Robbins (Norbit) is set to be released right around the time of the Oscar telecast. The Academy now understands what a huge bullet it just dodged. If there’s anything good that has come of Ratnergate, it’s that Eddie Murphy won’t be allowed to spoil it with promos for this movie.

I love the title of this post. But at least he isn't playing a hideous cgi character this time.

I have to admit, I laughed throughout that whole thing. Of course the laughter was about something else entirely but still, that clip was playing and there was laughter at the same time and I feel ashamed.

If you read the Rolling Stone interview with Eddie, it confirms that he really just doesn't give a fuck anymore. He's done "trying" and doesn't see the point of doing challenging roles. He just wants to stay home and play his guitar, and if a fun movie comes along, he'll think about doing it. Or not. It really says a lot that he's loyal to Brett Ratner and Brian Robbins. Christ.

Riles: Wouldn't you, if you were Eddie?

Does Eddie Murphy and Adam Sandler have the same agent now?

Is that grammatically correct, Dustin?

Does Eddie Murphy and Adam Sandler have the same agent now?

Does you have a writing problem, DR?

(John G. beat me to it, but I couldn't resist.)
