Strahovski Attached to Peter Dinklage Comedy / Dustin Rowles

Anyone see the final episode of “Chuck”? What a fucking waste if that show is canceled at the end of the month, as expected. They not only need to bring it back, but make Scott Bakula a permanent member of the cast. Also, they should cast Yvonne Strahovski twice. She should have, like, an evil twin who leaps around time and tries to sleep with Chuck. Or Adam Baldwin. Or Chuck’s sister. What I’m saying is: She’s a very attractive person who I would not mind visually appearing on my television screen on a more frequent basis. Also, I’d like to subscribe to her newsletter (is it too soon to bring that back?)

For now, however, Yvonne Strahovski has been signed on to an actual big screen movie — and a 12 foot Strahovski on a giant screen is probably just as good as two small Strahovski’s on the television. According to Cinemablend, she’ll be starring in I Love You Too. The movie comes from humorist Peter Helliar — who I understand is a famous television actor over in Australia — and will also star the extraordinary Peter Dinklage, Brendan Cowell, and supermodel Megan Gale (who was once attached as Wonder Woman in the Justice League movie before it fell apart). It’s about two men (Cowell and Dinklage) on a quest to win over the women they love. And that’s all the information currently available. Filming begins this week.

I saw some behind the scenes stuff on Chuck earlier this week. Never knew she was an Ozzie. Now I have an even bigger girl crush on her.

I keep hearing that rumor that Dinklage is going to play Tyrion in the Game of Thrones TV show, and that makes me so happy. I'm sure it's just a rumor though so I'm not getting my hopes up.

I Love You Too also appears to have a first-time film director as well.

It doesn't hurt that Strahovski is Australian, which as we all know is #2 on the hot accent list right behind Irish, unless you believe Flight of the Conchords.

I saw the finale and then immediately went and bought a Jeffster! shirt.

Sheesh i am crazy about this girl. If she is not a argument for human cloning i dont know what is.

My other tv crush (the wife only allows me two at a any given time) at the moment is Bridget Regan from Legend of the Seeker. The snotty kid that plays the role of Richard Cypher pisses me off but good god, Kahlen Ahmell stirs things in me that will make me watch that series. She looks even better slitting some bad guys throat and that is not done easily.

Wait a minute, a blondy that is armed to the teeth with guns and knives and a brunet armed with sword and a dagger... methinks i spot a trend...

"Strahovski Attached to Peter Dinklage"

That just sounds naughty.

Also, is it me or does PD's name
sound like a new way to describe "shrinkage"?

(man, my mind is in the gutter today)

Snath-- I know, I'm holding my breath on that one. If they cast Dinklage as Tyrion then I don't need anything else. They could just make the whole thing about Tyrion, in fact.

How about the episode last week when she and Chuck are on the lamb and she walks out of the bathroom wearing a tshirt and panties. Wow!

The finale was pretty good. It'd be a damn shame if that is the last we see of the show. Maybe its just me, but I don't think we have seen the end of Bryce. Something about that guy just doesn't sit right with me. Somehow I think he wasn't dead.

My weiner says, "Yeah!"

Wait, you mean the whole thing isn't about Tyrion? You lost me.

the finale of Chuck was pretty fucking fantastic. I'm so hopeful that the fact it was improving on its ratings, even though the ratings still weren't amazing, means it'll get a 3rd season. Being as gay as a childhood Christmas means I'm all up in Zach Levi's business, but I do also think Yvonne Stravohski is gorgeous.

Yvonne love = yay. There is so much good about Chuck (fingers crossed for renewal), but Sarah/Yvonne is top of the list. And yeah, this hetero female also dug that post-shower underwear scene followed by the super hot morning make-out. So yeah, loooove her and glad she is getting some other roles. Oh and Dinklage also rules the skool... and Jeffster.

I'd like to be introduced to Hot Lady's Little Man (in the boat).

"On the lamb"? "On the lamb"? Ohfergodsake.

And yes, Yvonne is lovely. If you like rabbit teeth.
Peter Dinklage is an incredible actor. He needs to be in fewer comedies, though, and more "serious" movies.

Pete Helliar is kind of a douche. Love Chuck, Strahovski is hot, but I do not have high hopes for anything that comes out of that resevoir of suck. I'm having trouble coming up with an American analogue for Helliar but suffice it to say that he's a total hack.

Posted by: Chugga at April 29, 2009 11:06 PM

@ Chugga:

I dunno. I sort of liken Hellier to Dane Cook for levels of unfunny unoriginality/ laughing too much at own jokes.

I feel really mean saying that about a fellow Aussie.

Peter Hellar is writting a Movie?

Sure the guy is (sorta) funny on the radio and on Rove but really? A Movie? This movie is destined to suck but since Miss Strahovski is starring in it my pants will probably drag me to the cinema on opening day.

Frankly from that info it just sounds like another bad Australian Movie. Sorry if I come off as a little Jaded but I seriously have no faith in my own country's ability to make a good movie.
