No, Logan Huntzberger isn’t joining the cast of Mulaney. Gotham— which I stuck with way longer than I can possibly justify, but haven’t gone back since its hiatus— has picked up Milo Ventimigilia to to play a recurring character called The Ogre. Now, there’s already an “Ogre” in Batman history (the genetically altered Michael Adams), but this is reportedly a newly invented, non-canonical character.

This new Ogre is Jason Lennon, who is described as “handsome, wealthy and seductive.”

A serial killer, the Ogre has been preying on Gotham’s young women for nearly a decade, luring them into his web and confronting them with a series of “tests” as he searches for his perfect mate. When the women fail to live up to his impossible standard, Lennon disposes of them quickly and viciously. His obsessions, combined with Det. Jim Gordon’s (Ben McKenzie) determination to bring him down, send both men — and those around them — on a course toward tragedy.
That character sounds depressingly realistic. Poor Peter Petrelli, still trying to find his place in this world. peterpettrelli-extraordinary.gif
