Yesterday, a new “green band” trailer for the stoner medieval comedy, Your Highness was released, which stars Zooey Deschanel, James Franco, Danny McBride and Natalie Portman’s ass. Here’s my recommendation: Don’t bother with the green band trailer. The red band trailer is longer, and features more profanity. And as we all know, profanity is funny. Right? (Shut up. Of course it is).

Actually, the movie looks balls-dropping stupid, but stupid perhaps in exactly that right sweet spot where it’s funny. But if you really want to know the difference between Red Band and Green Band, look no further than Natalie Portman’s ass (and remember: We’re doing this for science). When Danny McBride does profane, it's funny. When almost anyone else does, it is not.

Green band, red band... I'll take Natalie Portman's ass however I can get it. Especially since the restraining order.

Well, considering that it's directed by the fella that gave us Pineapple Express (James Franco's best comedic performance to date) and the creator's behind Eastbound and Down (the best comedy on HBO), and it seems like their take on a screwball/high-boy version of Princess Bride, and that cast. How can you not want to see this?

I mean, the only thing a future redband trailer could do to excite me more would be a shot of Zooey Deschanel's posterior. Fingers crossed.

This looks like good fun. I doubt I'll pay to see it in the theater but I'll definitely grab the DVD.

If I had not already seen the Red Band trailer, then I wouldn't be anywhere near as interested in seeing this film as I am.
The Green Band kills the fun.
