WWE Wrestler Threatens to Beat Pee Wee Herman to a Pulp

Is that the guy from “The Real World”? Throwing down with Pee Wee Herman?

When did the rip in the time-space continuum occur, and why didn’t anyone tell me about it?

Not sure why Peewee would be there, but yes that's the guy from the Real World and he's developed into the next big star in professional wrestling. It's insane how entertaining he is these days.

Real Worlders. Next thing you know, they'll be winning Congressional seats.

Wait...

I feel happy now.

On a completely superficial note, Paul Reubens doesn't age. I think he might be in his 50s now, but he really doesn't look it. Good for him.

Pee Wee would be there to promote his not-as-limited-run-as-initially-announced Broadway show. Now why The Miz (does he still go by that? I was out of the wrestling scene long before he broke in) is A) a wrestler and B) picking on poor Pee Wee are questions I can't answer.

THIS IS THE BEST THING EVER!!!!!$%@$@#ZOMGPEEWEE#@!2111!

Robert - A) he always wanted to be a wrestler, traded on his Real World fame to do so, and then became frikkin' awesome, and B) because he's a bad guy.

Hey, anything to keep Pee Wee from being co-opted by hipsters, I'm all for.

Mike Mizanin (The Miz) is from my hometown..he's actually become a pretty damned good heel (bad guy) for WWE and has been getting a huge main event push (wrestling industry terminology rules) in recent months.

That was -awesome-. Yes people still do watch wrestling, if you don't like it don't watch. Obviously from the size of the crowd it is still popular. And, WWE has for a couple years ago done 'celebrity guests'.

I think WWE is second in ratings to Pawn Stars on cable. It became PG when Linda McMahon decided to run for office. They decided to start putting on reading contest for kids and such. However they have always been great supporters of our troops, and I respect that. It's not the same show that it was when The Rock and Stone Cold were entertaining the masses. It's tame compared to those days.

I'm sorry, I just don't get it. I thought this was supposed to be 'real' wrestling. Any chance of that being true is surely dashed to pieces with Pee Wee on the stage... I mean in the ring.

It's become complete camp.

Talk about denial; "I watch it for the wrestling babe, not because it's a bunch of über-buff dudes in underwear grabbing each other and sweating, jumping on each other over and over..."

Posted by: Robb at November 4, 2010 9:23 AM

Wrestling hasn't been "real" since the 90s.

Posted by: Bea Pants at November 4, 2010 9:37 AM

Pee Wee is actually almost 60 (born in August of 1952).

Also, he's back on Broadway. True Story.

...oh. As Robert already said. Sorry! Stupid not-thinking-before-I-post.

Posted by: Anna von Beav at November 4, 2010 10:50 AM

Wrestling was real in the 90's ?

Minn:

How old are you? Jeez. Clearly you missed Cyndi Lauper in her Madonna clone period, when Captain Lou Albano was in her music videos and she was hanging around at WWF events before Wrestlemania I.

Yeah, I watched wrestling through my entire adolescence. I was a typical gay teen, and wrestling made for great spank material.

Haha. This is so funny. That guy has waxed legs! He applied fake tan lotion on them. Then he put on skimpy bikini bottoms, stockings and knee-high boots.

And he really, really thinks he is the epitome of maleness. Gotta love these wrestling dudes!
