Well, It Could Be Worse ... You Could Be Watching the MTV Movie Awards

I never quite know what to think about these elaborate marriage proposal videos. It feels like, maybe, the more elaborate it is, the more likely the woman will be forced into saying yes. I mean, if a guy goes to that much trouble, and there are that many people standing around, what's a woman supposed to do? If you say no in that situation, you'll forever be that giant bitch in the YouTube proposal video. I'm surprised Hollywood hasn't picked up on this high concept yet: Woman agrees to marry a man based on elaborately choreographed marriage proposal, but she's really in love with the camera man (and they could even bookend the movie with an elaborately choreographed runaway bride video).

Anyway, it's still sweet. And a pretty good way to kill five minutes.

Oh, and this may be the one reason to watch the MTV Movie Awards: A fairly clever promo with Jeremy Renner and Justin Bieber.
