This Sunday is the Halloween episode of “The Simpsons.” One of the episodes will be a parody of “Mad Men.” Not sure what’s spooky about that, exactly, but who cares, because this video, the intro to that parody, is excellent:

Oh, gilp, me too! We're not old, we're delightful and nostalgic. It wasn't that long ago, you know.

Anyway, that was completely awesome. I love that theme song.

I also saw a promo for the new Treehouse of Horrors, and they were doing a parody of "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!"? Or did I just imagine that?

Looks like the whole thing is gonna be freakin' awesome!

figgy, your are totally based in reality.

This promo kind of, sort of, basically made my day, but why must the Treehouse of Horror always premiere in November?

Sorry, "you are." I've been kind of a moron today.

LB - Because FOX is always broadcasting the World Series the last Sunday in October (this past Sunday)

Too bad the Simpsons is completely unwatchable now.

That's about as good as the Catch Me If You Can parody they did a couple years back.

Just goes to show that the difference between Family Guy and The Simpsons' styles of parody is like the difference between Epic Movie and Airplane.
