Hello, folks! And welcome once again to the fastest growing quiz sensation on the Interspace: Pajiba’s Two Truths and a Lie! After a long hiatus due to a complicated sex scandal that threatened to destroy the game, we have returned.

Today’s edition is brought to you by Skittles. You’ll see why after this NSFW commercial.

Wow, folks. I’m not so sure about tasting that rainbow anymore. That may have put me off of Skittles for an eternity.

Now, on to the game! For those of you who forgot how this game works, I will describe three projects currently in development over at MTV. Two are true. One is a lie. You try to identify which is the made-up project. And, as always, you can look up the right answer, but where’s the fun in that?

A) MTV is now casting for a new reality series from producer Mark Burnett (“Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader?” “Survivor”) and celebrity British chef, Jamie Oliver. “Run Fatboy Run” is recruiting 10 contestants who will compete to see who can gain 75 pounds and then lose all the weight in the shortest period of time. The winner will receive a cash prize. The reality series hopes to educate Americans through illustration the dangers of certain foods and the benefits of others.

B) MTV has just greenlit a show called “Dumb Girls.” The show, from Lauren Iungerich, creator/executive producer of the network’s new comedy series “Awkward,” is an ensemble project about a group of twenty-something women who are smart in life but dumb in love.

C) MTV has recently began production on a new show called, “I Just Want My Pants Back.” The show follows a twenty-something slacker struggling with sex, love, career and friendship. That all changes one night when a woman steals his pants. The series follows the lead as he attempts to track down the woman who still his heart and retrieve his beloved pair of jeans. Doug Liman (The Bourne Identity) is producing.

Which one is the lie?

Bonus Round: Is this trailer for a movie called Arena, starring Sam Jackson, real or fake?

The odds say, go with C. When all fails, air a reality show!

I reckon it's trick question and they're all real. or fake.

Posted by: Christopher at August 1, 2011 2:18 PM

I would really like to see Run, Fatboy Run.

Posted by: asdff at August 1, 2011 2:27 PM

There's no way in hell Doug Liman would be involved with a show called "I Just Want My Pants Back." Come on.

Posted by: TurnipTheRadio at August 1, 2011 2:42 PM

#1 is fake. Jamie Oliver would never encourage people to gain 75 pounds.

Posted by: MelBivDevoe at August 1, 2011 2:43 PM

I was ready to believe that was a real movie, until Samuel L. Jackson had second billing.

Sadly, it probably is a real movie.

Posted by: tamatha at August 1, 2011 2:46 PM

Jamie Oliver would not be involved in making people binge eat...

As I am an instant gratification whore, I looked it up after I voted. Now I know! :-)

"10 contestants who will compete to see who can gain 75 pounds and then lose all the weight in the shortest period of time"

We all know Christian Bale would win anyway.

I'm afraid to watch that video. The still alone is sick-making.

Does the yokel ejaculate Skittles? He does, doesn't he?

Posted by: Internet Magpie at August 1, 2011 2:50 PM

i just want my pants back is real i know someone who's a PA on it i remember seeing that on their facebook and thinking it was a retarded name for a show

Posted by: craig at August 1, 2011 3:23 PM

I hope Run, fatboy, run is the lie, I don't think Jamie Oliver would support a show in which ten people fuck up their health like that. I'm sure people would do that show, and nobody would do anything about a show encouraging people to fuck their lives for a few bucks, I just don't think Jamie would support it. I hope so!

I get that Samuel Leroy Jackson doesn't care anymore.

My question is: did he ever?

Posted by: wembley at August 1, 2011 3:46 PM

It's MTV. Who cares?

Posted by: Slashs at August 1, 2011 4:09 PM

Yeah, I vote "A". Not because I think anyone involved would care enough to prevent people from harming themselves with binge eating, but because "Run Fatboy Run" is probably a copyrighted name, and reality tv is all about being too cheap to produce a real show, much less pay money just to use a title.

Posted by: Craig at August 1, 2011 5:47 PM

for RUN FAT BOY ,it's Christian Bale who will win

Posted by: carrie at August 1, 2011 6:04 PM

Actually, those weren't Skittles, but a severe urethral infection (and subsequent byproducts).

Posted by: MadMike at August 1, 2011 9:18 PM

'Arena' is a real movie, a really shitty movie.

As for the other stuff, it's MTV; who gives a rats ass.

Posted by: Vhrico at August 2, 2011 8:32 AM

P.S. I can relate to the commercial, my GF makes me eat skittles before fellatio.

Posted by: Vhrico at August 2, 2011 8:34 AM

I know for a fact I Just Want My Pants back is a real show bc I have friends who are filming on it as we speak. There's no way Run Fat Boy Run is a show. No WAY. And Arena is probably real but didn't this movie get made already? Wasn't it called Gamer? Wasn't it called...that dumb movie where all the convicts are trapped on an island and have to kill each other to...Condemned. Wasn't it called Condemned?

*Sigh*
