I don’t know if finding this graffiti at a construction site near your house is better or worse if you’ve seen True Detective. On one hand, if you’ve never seen True Detective, you wouldn’t have any context for the graffiti, and you may wonder what-the-f*ck a naked lady with antlers next to a Bible quote might mean. On the other hand, if you have seen True Detective, then you do have an idea of what it means, which may be even creepier.

This showed up over the weekend at a construction site in London.

No one knows who exactly is responsible for it, but it did materialize on the same day of the Blu Ray release of True Detective, so it may just be a really cool marketing stunt. In either respect, it was quickly whitewashed away after it freaked out the locals.

The "though" for "thou" mix up kills it for me.

I don't know...a construction site in a world capital like London doesn't hold the same creep factor as a burned out church in Louisiana where it feels like creepy swamp demons and the ghosts of slaves are around every corner. This feels like the place you go to buy cheap ecstasy.
