This New Bond Girl Is Going to Be Really Disappointed In Bond's New Drink of Choice
The next James Bond film, Skyfall is but a few months away now, set for release in October. The last week has seen a few revelations about the new movie. Among them is the the casting of Tonia Sotiropoulou in an unconfirmed role, joining Berenice Marlohe, who is set to play the lead Bond girl, Severine. That’s Sotiropoulou in the image above, and this is Marlohe:
There is also speculation that Adele’s next single, due out later this year (without an accompanying album) may also be the theme song for Skyfall.
It’s not all good news, however, as Bond will be trading in his martini glass, at least once in the movie, for a bottle of Heineken. The film has struck a product-placement deal with Heineken that will have Bond drinking the beer in at least one scene. My hope is that he orders it only because Heineken bottles are better for breaking over people’s heads than martini glasses.
At least it’s not Stella Artois, a beer that just got owned in the billboard advertising department.
