None of them look like they're starving, do they? I thought they were living on pigeon and squirrel?

Posted by: Carrie at July 28, 2011 12:25 PM

Had to Goggle this. Still don't care. I guess it's better than Twilight

Posted by: logan at July 28, 2011 12:33 PM

Carrie, You're right that District 12 was mostly starving, but Gale and Katniss (and Peeta) were relatively well fed due to illegal hunting (and baked goods).

Posted by: ed newman at July 28, 2011 12:33 PM

Yeah I remember all that, but I thought they'd still be a little more malnourished. I know I know, it's a movie.

Posted by: Carrie at July 28, 2011 12:39 PM

And Katniss ain't hiding from SHIT in that leather jacket. That thing'll creak and squeak with every move. It must sound like gay pride parade every time she lifts her arm.

Posted by: Kballs at July 28, 2011 12:39 PM

Jeans tucked inside fashionable leather boots, and a nice matching leather jacket? Katniss looks like she's ready to hit the mall and pick up a cute cardigan at Ann Taylor. Gah, and what the hell is Gale wearing? Just no.

Posted by: bat at July 28, 2011 12:51 PM

Hahaha, or what Kballs said.

Posted by: bat at July 28, 2011 12:52 PM

He looks too clean...she looks too big...

Y'all, this is supposed to be The Hunger Games, not The Vague Munchies Games.

Where's Nolan's magic GritBrush (TM) when you need it?

Posted by: Donut Plains at July 28, 2011 1:04 PM

Yeah, yeah, Katniss, Peeta, Gale. What about Buttercup? Last I heard he was going to be played by a perfectly groomed persian.

Posted by: io at July 28, 2011 1:09 PM

Good point about the leather jacket.

I'm sure the the same crowd that made the thoroughly mediocre HP series such a success will suckle this like it's the cure for cancer.

Posted by: Mr. Stitch at July 28, 2011 1:53 PM

I can't even be bothered to Google this shit to find out what the fuck it's all about and why these pretty people are supposedly "hungry."

Posted by: JenVegas at July 28, 2011 2:14 PM

Hey! Don't you dare compare HP to the Hunger Games. Sure HG is good but it is no Harry Potter.

Posted by: E-Money at July 28, 2011 3:36 PM

Man, her father must have been an interesting guy... to rock a woman's leather blazer. I have a feeling this is all just gonna piss me off.

Posted by: AlannaJudith at July 28, 2011 4:46 PM

This movie...this one right here...based on the amazing books. This thing gonna suck.

Posted by: Blank at July 28, 2011 5:26 PM

Yeah, they look way too clean and healthy. But dammit, I still want to like this.

io: Well played.

Also, funny that every time there's a Hunger Games post, people feel the need to tell us that they don't know what the Hunger Games are -- and they don't actually care. Uh, okay then! Thanks for sharing!

hothothothothot

I don't care about its integrity.

Who are these Photoshopped zygotes and why am I supposed to care? Where the fuming HELL are the pictures of Wes Bentley?

That pisses me off too. Readers check out a Seriously Random List and then proudly proclaim: "I don't know any of these people and don't care." (Except that kind of person usually says they "could care less") What the hell are you doing here if you don't know the people this site mentions extensively?
