  • Finally, for the few of you who have seen Winter’s Bone, you might have been very impressed with the break-out performance of Jennifer Lawrence. This is her in the low budget Sundance hit:

    This is her explanation for the contrast in an interview with Vulture:

    Anybody that knows the business knows that I have to do that. My biggest fear is being typecast. I’ve always known I wanted to have options. I want to be able to do whatever I want. Winter’s Bone is a movie that doesn’t have a single sexual bone in its body, and so it made sense to do something that was the opposite of that, to do something that was sexy.

    Jennifer is absolutely right. If you look kick-ass in a bikini, you should be in it as much as possible. ESPECIALLY if the thing you just did wasn't sexy enough. This lady is goddamned visionary.
