Kevin Grievoux Getting Noticed

We talked a few weeks ago about the upcoming film project, I, Frankenstein, based on actor/director/writer/gigantor Kevin Grevioux’s graphic novel. Well, the man ain’t gathering no moss — he’s also directing an adaptation of one of his own graphic novels, The Pale Horseman.

It’s a supernatural thriller about a group of assassins forced to work together to discover who killed their mentor. No, the premise ain’t gonna set the world on fire, but it’s all in the execution with these things. Grevioux will be a first-time director, so there is much remaining to be seen.

I dig the cover, though (Click to enlarge).

Same thing I said about The Rock applies to this dude, too. Mmmm. Yummy.

Did he make the comic just so he could play that guy 2nd from the left? C'mon man, that's shameless.

Optimus, if you looked like him, you'd do the same damn thing. Don't lie, I know I would.

Not sure I'd accuse him of arrogance or egoism in the whole 'putting yourself in your work' department. His character in the two underworld movies he appeared in were memorable, obviously, but largely unimportant.

If a writer wants to engage in a little 'product placement' I'd FAR rather see Greivoux style than the thinly disguised Mary-Sue style Twilight crap.
