  • The new iPhone was announced by Steve Jobs this morning. It'll be available on June 24th. How does this affect the movie lover? Netflix. On your iPhone. Also, iMovie for the iPhone, so we can look forward to the first iPhone created feature film. You can record video in HD. Also. video calls, iAds and iBook, which will undoubtedly render those Kindles obsolete in a year. Oh, man: Newfangledness. (Engadget)

  • Sarah Chalke ("Scrubs") is the latest member to replace someone else in the cast for CBS's midseason pick-up, "Mad Love." She replaces "Friday Night Light's" Minka Kelly. (Lizzy Caplan may be replaced by Judy Greer, and Tyler Labine replaced Dan Fogler. Unfortunately, no one has replaced Jason Biggs yet). (Deadline)

  • Bruce Willis, Forest Whitaker, Malin Akerman, and Kate Mara have been cast in Catch .44, about three women who find themselves in a bizarre situation involving a ruthless hitman (Whitaker), a hardened trucker, and a line cook. Aaron Harvey wrote and will direct the film. (Variety)

  • Stephen Schiff (Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps) has been tasked with penning the script for an Albert Einstein biopic, about the 20 years leading up to his Nobel prize in 1921. (THR)

  • MTV has debuted a Saul Bass-inspired movie poster for Ryan Reynolds' Buried.

  • And speaking of Ryan Reynolds' movies, here's the new logo for the Green Lantern flick due out next summer.

  • Speaking again of Buried, and contained films, here's the trailer for Lebanon, which takes places completely inside of a tank. It also won the top prize at Cannes.
