Marvel's film division is huge and seems unbeatable (I have faith in the son of Odin). Hence, I have named it the MarvelTank. They keep releasing more and more information about new projects and so much of it sounds amazing.

In addition to the pillars holding up Marvel -- Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk and Thor -- they are rumored to be creating short films to fill in the rest of the universe.

They've already named a few heroes. Here they are with my takes on them.

Doctor Strange -- Easy. Combine magic and mysticism with some killer CGI and you're half way there. Who plays him? You guys are better at casting roles than me.

Luke Cage -- Hell yeah. Maybe a little Heroes for Hire in there too? Iron Fist? Michael Jai White needs a chance to redeem himself after Spawn.

And last, with not only a rumored short film but also an upcoming Animated Series, and I already spoiled this with the header pic, but here it is --

The King of Wakanda himself --

BLACK PANTHER.

Maybe not impressive to all of you, but he's being voiced in the cartoon by Chiwetel Ejiofor, the man everyone says should play him. And maybe he'll get his chance in that short film.

The Animated Series is said to feature Princess Shuri and Storm, who I doubt will be married to him in this as it seems to be more of an origin story. It will tell the story of how T'Challa avenged his father's death and struggles to maintain peace in his country.
The series was supposed to be shown on BET but that fell through so it'll be available on iTunes, XBOX Live, Playstation Network and for the Zune.

What's your opinion on the choice of heroes? Ever wish Guillermo Del Toro could direct everything? Maybe you just want to make fun of The Zune.

Comments, yo.
