I don’t know, maybe Bane is worried about catching SARS or something. Though that mask he wears seems like a bitch to put on or take off. But I will admit though, villains do have a sense of fashion. I mean has anyone ever seen a villain not dressed appropriately for any occasion.

I really dislike the mask on Bane. Tom Hardy is a hell of a good actor, but covering most of his face is a bad idea from an acting perspective. That and it just looks really distracting and incredibly uncomfortable. The shot with him and Batman looks like his cheek is pouring out the side of the mask. Hopefully the look works in the movie. I have faith in Nolan, but I haven't like the look of Bane since day one.
