The problem with watching the trailer for the forthcoming Coen Brothers' film, Inside Llewyn Davis is that all it does is make you anxious to see it NOW. Starring Carey Mulligan, John Goodman, Garrett Hedlund, F. Murray Abraham, Adam Driver and Alex Karpovsky, and featuring Oscar Isaac in the title role, the only thing negative I can say about it is that the vision of Justin Timberlake juxtaposed with a music of Bob Dylan is a little jarring.

But, damn: Get us to the December release date now.

The Coen Brothers have a film coming out?!

Time to follow my tried and tested 7 Steps program:

Step 1: 'The Coen Brothers have a film coming out?!'

    Step 2: 'I don't care what it's about.'

    Step 3: 'I don't care who's in it.'

Step 4: Avoid all trailers, because who cares what it's about or who's in it.

Step 5: See Coen Brothers film in the cinema.

    Step 6: Be happy.

Step 7: Be sad because they haven't made another one while you were watching that one.

Timberlake is still trying to do the acting thing. They're really trying to make fetch happen.

  • Lindsey Gregory

Why does Hollywood insist on making Timberlake happen??

  • shardik

Because he's a talented human being? He can dance, act, and sing, and he's decent at all of them.

... I don't get it. Much like all their movies except Big Lebowski - which, sorry, I think is over-rated - and Oh Brother..., I simply do not get the appeal of this movie trailer. I don't have anything against the Coen Bros. I just don't enjoy them. But to each their own.

  • Kubo

Did you just say the Big Lebowski is overrated?

You SHOULD be sorry. I'll find you and I'll cut you!

  • Marc Greene

Jeez, who trained that cat? If I tried to take my cat anywhere near a subway I would end up looking like I put my arms in a wood chipper.

    Goddamn I love Oscar Issac.

  • annie

I know he's only in the trailer for a second, but Garrett Hedlund is damn pretty. And that Care Mulligan, she can deliver a line.

  • Girls: The Movie

I dunno, not really my cup of tea. Although Mulligan's line about the condoms slayed me.

  • DoctorDouchebag

I honestly can't tell if this is set in the sixties or everyone is just a bunch of annoying hipsters. Ahh, it'll still be good, it's the Coen brothers.

  • cicatricella

it's set in '61. Same dude who put together the O Brother Where Art Thou soundtrack is doing this one.
