Steve Carell, Jim Carrey, and Olivia Wilde Star in the Magical Craptacular Incredible Burt Wonderstone

The trailer for Burt Wonderstone features an interesting cast: Steve Carell, in his mainstream comedy form; Steve Buscemi at his Happy Madison worst (stick to drama, Steve!); James Gandoflini cashing a paycheck; Alan Arkin cashing a paycheck for being awesome; Olivia Wilde cashing a paycheck for being pretty; and Jim Carrey, who looks to be the only truly interesting character in what appears to be a fairly safe, sanitized studio magic comedy about an old-school magician duo facing competition from an upstart illusionist.

In other words, a lot of wasted talent on hand here, although the movie will probably make a bazzigillianoogle dollars.

    Until the hot coals screaming, I sensed Jim Effing Carrey might be the only bright spot. Not unlike SBC in Talladega Nights.
