Stephen Colbert Lights Up South Carolina Rally with a Gospel Choir and ... Herman Cain

Stephen Colbert continued his campaign to become the Presidents of the United States of America of South Carolina, hosting a political rally in South Carolina yesterday along with noted ass man and former presidential candidate, Herman Cain. He gave a rousing satirical speech skewering Super Pacs (“You don’t have to be a billionaire to be President of the United States; you just have to know one”) and capped it all off with a gospel choir performing “This Little Light of Mine” with Cain in attendance.

And if you’re curious, Stephen Colbert’s “Vote for Cain” campaign merited Herman Cain 6,000 votes in last night’s primary, good for one percent of the vote (and significantly better than Cain’s 45 votes in Iowa and 160 votes in New Hampshire).

That’s the power of fake democracy, folks.

Yeah, I'm with Zeke on this one. My eyebrows are threatening to recede into my hairline, that's how puzzled I am.

The most disturbing moment of the South Carolina debate for me (here across the pond)was when Ron Paul basically declared America should not do unter other countries what she would not like other countries to do unto her... and got resoundly and emphatically booed by what sounded like the entire audience.
This does not bode well for us other countries, you know.
