Idina Menzel and Taye Diggs have announced that they are divorcing, according to People magazine, which makes the video below — made only a few months ago — all the more heartbreaking. LOVE IS SHAM. NEVER BELIEVE IN ANYTHING EVER AGAIN.

A Broader Way is a 10-day summer camp for underserved children in the New York City metro area who get to hang out with Idina Menzel and a bunch of Broadway performers designed to empower kids through the arts. As many of you know, Idina Menzel is a huge Broadway star who originated the Maureen Johnson role in Rent and won a Tony award for originating the role of Elphaba in Wicked. She’s also been on “Glee,” but we can forgive her for that.

Menzel is also married to Taye Diggs, who needs no introduction. They met on the set of Rent, where Diggs played the Landlord.

They are were officially my new favorite celebrity couple. Why? Because not only do they a dog named Sammy Davis, Jr., but they have two cats named Ella and Coltrane. Also, because they’ve been together for 18 years, and as the video illustrates below, they are still clearly smitten with each other. That’s only one of the best things about this video. The others amazing things about this video are that 1) they perform a song from Wicked for Angie Arredondo, who was generous enough to donate to A Broader Way; 2) they were performing it in an airport during a delay; 3) while their fussy child was trying to sleep; and 3) the plane was actually taking them to the summer camp; 4) where they will hang out, be adorable, and inspire 31 young girls to take over the world.

Oh, and you should totally donate to A Broader Way. Maybe Idina and Taye will sing you a song from an airport.
