Spanish Heavy Metal, Which Is the Worst

I don’t watch Glee. I tried the first episode, and it just wasn’t my thing — though I do admit to sometimes feeling left out and like I might have been missing something. They almost sucked me in with the whackadoodie that is Lady Gaga, but I resisted. I thought about seeing what happened with the Madonna episode, but again, I refrained. What can I say — I’m not a cover song girl?
But now? I must watch. Frakkers.
The delightfully accented and hotness that is Oscar winner Javier Bardem (No Country for Old Men, Vicky Cristina Barcelona) speed-watched the season and then pitched the idea of his guest-starring to Glee co-creator and Eat, Pray, Love director Ryan Murphy.
Bardem says he is to play a rock star who befriends Artie (Kevin McHale) and says “We’re going to rock the house.” “We’re going to do some heavy metal — Spanish heavy metal, which is the worst.”
Just try and keep me away!
