My questions are twofold:

1) why have they chosen a shot for the poster that makes him look a bit like Daniel Craig?

and 2) at what point did they decide to go with the hot pink 80s VHS cover font equivalent of comic sans?

/will watch it

"Hey girl, get out of my dreams and get into my car."

In the first photo, he has the haircut of a dickface.

Hee, Pinky!

Anyone else think it looks like a YA/teen romance novel cover? All it needs is a shot of Carey Mulligan looking conflicted and it could be sitting on the shelf at Barnes & Noble.

I thought was a banned word.

Oh, look, it is!

a. It's not so much Daniel Craig as "standard hard ass pose 3c.".

B. Oh sure, Dustin is allowed to say "bunk". What a blatant double standard.

FASCISTS!

@emotionalpedant - They just copy/pasted from the poster for Licence to Drive starring the Coreys. And I'm okay with it - I miss hot pink 80's movie font. Actually, I just googled the LtD poster and the 'Licence to' part is almost identical to this one.

I almost never get excited for action movies, but with Gosling, Brooks, Cranston and Mulligan, I'm so in. Can't wait to see this.

I wonder if Baby Goose's nether region hair is soft and fluffy...like a baby goose.

Posted by: kirbyjay at August 2, 2011 2:55 PM

Kirbyjay knows more about baby goose nether regions than I ever want to. That being said, I am a total sucker for a car movie, a caper movie and a revenge movie. As this appears to be all three I'll be all over this when it comes out.

Am I the only one who doesn't find Baby Goose particularly attractive?

I am? OK, then.
