The images from this week’s feature on Iron Man 2 are just now starting to leak out. They aren’t particularly high res, but what we do know from them is that: 1) Pepper Potts is not someone you want fisting you anytime soon; and 2) Scarlett Johansson, as the Black Widow, still can’t keep her goddamn pouty mouth shut. Seriously, lady: Close it. Not half-closed or three-quarters closed. Shut yer trap. Are you trying to catch flies? Or do you have no interest in keeping your saliva inside your mouth.

I hope she crawls around on the floor with the towel.

Iron Man is the one and only appearance by Gwynnie P that did NOT make me want to peel her skinny ass frame and feed her to wolves. Not impressed with the pic, but for RDJ, I will suffer any indignation or abuse.

I think her pouty lips work for her in this case. Black Widow is supposed to be a sexpot, a crazy-seductive Russian spy/assassin. The blow job lips are kind of part of her character.

I really, really love Black Widow, so I was willing to give Scarjo the benefit of the doubt, especially since I thought I was going to hate Paltrow as Pepper Potts and then she was totally charming. But looking at this picture of her crawling around on the ground in pleather reminded me that a) she can't fucking act, and b) she's going to have to pull of a Russian accent, and I'm willing to bet my first issues that listening to her roll marbles around her gaping maw trying to pull off the long o's and hard r's will make my head explode.

This puts me in the minority, but I like Gwyneth Paltrow and Scarlett Johansson just fine. They don't get falling-down-drunk at various L.A. clubs, they don't feel the need to constantly talk about their marriages, and they have pretty hair.

I'm a very forgiving man. Ghost World came out around the time I was ready to take a header in to an empty pool (whilst screaming I'm a golden god!) so there is a level of affection for Scarlett. Having said that, I will continue to give her the benefit of the doubt as long as she agrees to continue either keeping her mouth open (allowing for easier access) or be wearing just enough to cover the nipples and avoid too much castigation.

I like Scar Jo and Gwyneth. I like Scar Jo because she's not super thin (she's getting there but not yet), I like the way she comes across in interviews - she's funny, and I don't think she's a bad actress. I like Gwyneth because she's pretty in the classic white girl way that you never see in Hollywood anymore, she's smart, and she can act, also The Royal Tenenbaums. I like them both because I don't give a shit about their personal lives and I'm not forced to know about it through tabloids or anything. I didn't even know Scar Jo was married to RR until very recently. I love that.
