Robert Redford's The Company You Keep Trailer Features All the Character Actors

Robert Redford's The Company You Keep premieres at the Toronto Film Festival next month (way to shaft your own festival, Redford!), and it centers on a journalist played by Shia LaBeouf who is attempting to track down a missing Weather Underground activist who has been on the run for 30 years. LaBeouf, who acquitted himself nicely in Lawless, is the featured played in the thriller, but it's the strong supporting cast that makes this movie so intriguing: Brit Marling, Susan Sarandon, Anna Kendrick, Nick Nolte, Terrence Howard, Stanley Tucci, Chris Cooper, Brendan Gleeson, Julie Christie, Stephen Root, Richard Jenkins, and Sam Elliott.

So, basically, there won't be any scenery left after those guys finish chewing.

Also, that's some really bad hair, there, LaBeouf.

I wish Laboeuauarff would just stop.
He keeps getting roles totally incommensurate with his ability, and and has never been close to the good thing in anything he is a part of. I don't even hate him.

    So where's William Fichtner?

Uggh, Terrence Howard. His voice really grates me. I wonder if they kept baby wipes for the ladies on set.

Anywhoo, looks good. I actually like LaBeouf's hair in this, much better than what's happening now.

i'm sorry, am I an idiot? what's so bad about his hair? I like it better than the greasy slicked back thing he does....too...curly? what's the issue?

  • looks promising, but i had to turn off the trailer, as i started to feel like i was actually watching the movie. i never understand why the only way to market a thriller is to walk people through the whole story in the trailer

  • junierizzle

    Damn, his hair was distracting.

I'm pretty sure I guessed the twist. 95% positive.

God damn it Hollywood! The first rule of Trailer Club is that you never talk about Trailer Club! The second rule of Trailer Club is that you never let Shia LeBeef into the fucking club unless your club has big shiny robots in it to fool the testicularly challenged into believing that there is actually no LeBeef in the trailer but only robots and a slinky female lead! Why did you even start this club if you're not going to follow the rules?
