Riddle Me This, Nolan

JGL overload? I think not.

First Showing is reporting that The Riddler is a confirmed villain in Christopher Nolan's sequel to The Dark Knight (currently labeled Batman 3. In addition, an insider tells them that the studio casting grid has Joseph Gordon-Levitt down as "interested". Heck, I'm interested and a hell of a lot more than the previously rumored Johnny Depp or Eddie Murphy (insert shudder). I have no doubt JGL could go as dark and twisted as we'd want him to go and he has a smart confidence about him that would allow us to see The Riddler as a serious criminal (as opposed to Jim Carey's buffoonish version).

Say, maybe he could wear a suit.

I'll leave you to ruminate with this partial interview where Gordon-Levitt discusses working with Christopher Nolan and some of the technical aspects of his Inception stunt work. No spoilers for those who haven't seen the film.
