The marketing folks over at Pixar, in an effort to help get out the word for a movie nobody would otherwise know about, Toy Story 3, have come up with a neat little fake commercial for a toy of a dubious intentions. Lots-O’ Huggin’ Bear gives you lots o’ hugs and lots o’ love and lots ’ fun … all he wants is a little love, and he’ll be your friend forever.

Ironically, that was the same marketing campaign for the Catholic church back in the ’80s.

This will be one of the creepier new toys in Toy Story 3, due out this summer.

Teddy bears should NOT have suggestive eyebrows.

They take those things to school, the fifth-graders will wallop the stuffing out of them.

The bears? No, I mean the boy with the bear.

I'm missing what you're seeing, dude. Looks pretty harmless to me.

It's disappointing Pixar is finally becoming Disneyfied with the endless sequels. Toy Story 3 this summer. Cars 2 next summer. Monsters Inc 2 in 2012. So much for the original offerings.

Why does that bear have a cane? If that bitch is battery operated, I'm calling the authorities.

I think the best part is that Lots O' Huggin Bear is voiced by Ned Beatty. AHAHAHAHAAHAHAAHAH!

That thing looks like Ed Asner. Ironically, Mr. Asner is not cuddly at all.

Nah, you're looking too far into it, it's just an imitation of an old add. It's not supposed to be suggestive, it's a kids film.

Of course the company closed after they released Lot's o' Stabbin' Clown. Voiced by Tim Curry. I bought one for all my nieces and nephews.

As the parent of a toddler and someone who will inevitably see that movie dozens (and dozens, and dozens) of times, I actually like the off-color little tidbits that Pixar sneaks into their films. A little bit o' perversion keeps it interesting!

I really like that "old VCR line-o'-distortion running along the bottom of the vid. Very nice touch. It's impressive how much it mimics a real vintage toy commercial.

Also, I'm relieved that I'm not the only person who thinks that bear looks like Ed Asner.

All bears look like Ed Asner.

Actually. I think the pic looks alot like Danny DaVito Bear. Anyone catch
the video of him on tmz at the Coachella Music Festival? 4 feet nuthin and
dancing away with some bare-breasted gals{?} in the vip section. Just add
pimp daddy cane in right hand.

Ed Asner is the pedo-bear?

*sigh* I gotta start doing more than just skimming the comments.

All bears look like Ed Asner.

Except Koala Bears. They look like Ed Koch.

I think this is Huggy Bear growns up.
