Starz Channel today announced a two season, 20 episode commitment to the Seth MacFarlane/Jonathan Ames produced comedy series called Blunt Talk. The half hour comedy will star our favorite 73-year old Sir—Jean-Luc Picard, himself—Patrick Stewart. Stewart is set to play transplanted British newscaster Walter Blunt, who aims to take over the U.S. cable news world, armed with only his “mad-genius” and a bottle. The series will focus on Blunt’s opinionated attempts to educate Americans on how they should live, via his talk news show. Though Blunt has ex-wives and children, here’s the really interesting bit; his only support is the “alcoholic manservant” Blunt brought with him. HELLO. Is this not a scream-worthy casting call that can only be answered by one man?

Make it so.
