The annual Paley Fest, put on by the Paley Center for Media in Los Angeles, is a great opportunity to catch screenings and panels with the cast and crew of what’s usually an interesting selection of TV series. (Last year’s panels included “Friday Night Lights” and one where Judd Apatow talked about his career from “Freaks and Geeks” to Knocked Up.) The Paley Fest can also always be counted on to include some genuinely terrible series in its panel lineup, but there’s no kind of scholarly curiosity involved; the Paley folks just wanna ride what’s hot.

Anyway, they’ve just announced this year’s panels, and while I cannot begin to express my disappointment that “The Hills” made the cut — unless it’s so that the show’s stars can be gathered in one place and summarily executed — some of the panels look worth attending. I, for one, have my eye on the final episodes of “Pushing Daisies,” the look at “Caprica,” and the “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” crew. Tickets go on sale to the public March 1. All screenings are at the Arclight Hollywood:

One of these years, I'll go to this. They always have at least one panel I fancy attending.

Is it just me or is the site reaally slow at the moment? Scrolling takes forever, so does typing...

*Sigh*...Pushing Daisies being canceled makes me feel sad in my everything.

How do you include The Hills and Desperate Actressin' with the rest of that awesomeness.

It defies logic.

The inclusion of Ginnifer Goodwin in the Big Love section, A) makes me happy, as I loves me some Ginnifer, but B) gives me the opportunity to state that I saw HJNTIY Monday night... and didn't hate it.

I will now ban myself for the rest of the day.

Uhm, Pushing Daisies was cancelled? Where have I been? Come to think of it, I've been wondering when the season was going to resume. That's it, I'm never watching TV again. Well, except for Lost.

Did I miss something, or is Charlie Day missing from the panel for It's Always Sunny? How can Green Man not be there?

Can't we just firebomb the building when they have the Hills panel?

So close yet so far. Damnable classes and lack of a car and/or money will once again conspire to keep me from anything I love. I'm such a sucker for panels.
