Original Back to the Future Promo Recreated with Michael J. Fox

I’ve never watched a second of Spike TV before; I’m not even sure what airs on that channel besides MMA, right? I doubt I could find it on my channel guide, and I may in fact have had it deleted by the cable company so as to avoid any inadvertent brain damage.

But … Michael J. Fox apparently thinks enough of the channel to recreate the original Back to the Future promo to both intro the Spike Scream Awards and celebrate the 25th Anniversary of BTTF. I don’t care who the hell he’s doing it for; if he were doing it for “The O’Reilly Factor” or “The Real Housewives of Brisco County, Jr.,” it wouldn’t make it any less bad ass.

This is the very epitome of cool.

It's cool and all, but I must admit I have no memory of the original promo which this is homaging...ing.

Just the other night, some of us were talking about what an incredible career Michael J Fox has had. Add this to the list of a remarkable performer and person.

I saw Back To The Future on July 4, 1985. Then I hit a rabbit with my car. It was the first time I ever killed another animal (pesky insects aside) and I cried.

Here is the original teaser: BAM!

That was awesome, particularly Fox's little grin at the end.

Wow, am I really gonna hafta watch the Scream awards? (What are they, anyway?) My instincts are saying it's some sort of trap, but the thought of a Back to the Future reunion might override them, especially if Crispin Glover shows up with his unique brand of crazy.

Think Eric Stoltz is invited?

I love him. Seriously - the more you 'get to know' most stars, the less you find to like. But not Fabulous Mr. Fox. He's just a good one.

Can I be a RHW of Brisco County Jr? I own the DVD set, that should qualify me.

Michael J. "Is He Ever A" Fox is in my top five favorite people I've never met. Possibly the top two, and even in that he's the only alive one (RIP, Madeline Kahn).

Hmm it's been way way too long since I've watched those movies. Definitely time for a marathon.

The only decent thing worth watching on Spike was MXC - and it's not on any longer. So, pass.

Can't even remember the last time I saw Back To The Sequel- is that band McFly invited?

They also have spoofs of the Dharma Orientation Film because Lost is nominated for a Scream award.
