One Of TV's Best Actors Lands A Juicy Role On 'The Walking Dead'
We’re huge Michael Cudlitz fans here on Pajiba. “Who?” you say. “FOR SHAME,” I reply. Like many obscenely talented actors of a certain shade, Cudlitz got a major break in the HBO series Band Of Brothers.
But he came to greater prominence as the heart and soul of TNT’s criminally underrated cop drama, Southland. Well he’s not going to be our little secret anymore. Cudlitz has joined the Season 4 cast of The Walking Dead. He’ll be playing Sergeant Abraham Ford who looks like this in the comic:

Pretty damn close! We won’t go into major comic book spoilers for you unsullied show watchers, but Rick and the gang meet Sgt. Ford on a trip to D.C. and he and his companion, Dr. Eugene Porter (played by Josh McDermitt) claim to know what was behind the zombie outbreak. Fear not, comic book lovers, the showrunners have promised that Dr. Porter will be “fully mulleted.” All I know is that just when I think I’m out, The Walking Dead always finds a way to pull me back in. Cudlitz and mullets? I’m in.
