Nixon Goes to Utah

I’ve got me some big love for Gregory Itzin, people, so I’m really jazzed about this news. The fabulous Emmy-nominated actor who took his role of 24 President Charles Logan to wickedly insane heights will join the new season of Big Love as Senator Richard Dwyer, the Utah State Senate Republican Majority Leader. As those of you who watch Big Love are aware, at the close of season 4 Bill Henrickson had just been elected as a Republican Senator himself, so the potential for brilliant interaction between Itzin and Bill Paxton is great. I was really put off by the whole running for the Senate storyline — it made little sense for the family (who Bill just outed to all his constituents) and I found it incredible that he would actually win. But the addition of Itzen will no doubt add interest and make the political storyline palatable.

He does have a little of that Nixon thing going, no?

Damn, you people are cold.

I'll be fucked if I let this sit here with not one comment. Gregory Itzin!

Also, I have no problem talking to myself.

I may actually take up the series again for that potrayal of Senator asshat. I also admire your zest for personal debate.

I knew you seemed suspicious. Also, slightly disgusting.
