Netflix Does Something Right: Pop-Pop Gets Some Advertising?

You’ve probably already heard about Netflix’s brilliant marketing promotion of adding fake shows from “Arrested Development” to their Instant service. I’m sure someone will correct me if I’m wrong, but it seems like every fake show within the show has been added. I tried to decide how to present all of these to you and thought you might like them as pictures. I would imbed video, but all you get when you try to watch something like Families With Low Self Esteem is a clip of it being featured on the show.

    This is brilliant.

  • beta_turn

"Homeless Dad" and "They Shoot Heroin, Don't They?" need some love.

  • Anna von Beav

HA! Each of them links to the episode they were mentioned in. That's kind of awesome.

  • What about Maeby's movie, The Young Man and the Sea, or whatever? That needs to be included :)

  • dizzylucy

I could not love this more.

Boyfights better include the "Baby Buster" shorts, and there should be a concert video for the Dr. Funke's 100% Natural Good Time Family Band Solution.

  • Erin S

More like a movie within a show, but I would have loved the description to "Love, Indubitably."

  • Bert_McGurt

Dammit, I was hoping for Snowboarding School 2. And El Amor Prohibido!

  • BWeaves

Um, I think World's Worst Drivers is an actual show. Seriously. I think I channel surfed through it once, and it definitely wasn't “Arrested Development."

  • It is. It was a talking heads comedian show in the style of VH1's I Love the [Whatever]'s, only really low rent and not very funny. I want to say it was Spike, but it could have been FX.

  • There is a show called that because I think my husband made me watch it once.
