The following exclusives come via The Hollywood Cog.
We now know what “The Daily Show’s” Samantha Bee — or “the always pregnant lady” — has been doing with all of her maternity leave. Bee and fellow “The Daily Show” correspondent (and husband) Jason Jones have been writing a script. The Man Hunters follows two women approaching their 40s who use unorthodox means to find themselves a man. The project is set up at Warner Brothers, with Bob Shaye producing.
Carey Mulligan and Jodie Foster are attached to Stoker, a Ted Foulke project exec produced by Tony and Ridley Scott. Set up at Fox Searchlight, the movie will focus on a moody teenager who — after the death of her father — has to deal with a mysterious uncle who returns to spend time with the family.
Josh Peck is set to star in The Siege of Fulton Avenue, a project that once had George Tillman Jr. (Notorious) aboard as director. That no longer appears to be the case. The movie is based on a David Amsden New York Magazine article about a real-life stand-off between a group of teenagers and Westchester, NY police. After a group of kids throw a wild party, the police are called in, and when the police try to break it up, it turns into a stand-off, while the teenagers have to figure out a way to destroy all the evidence while keeping the police at bay. Seige is expected to be a comedy in the vein of Risky Business, Can’t Hardly Wait, and Superbad.

I assume there'll be a scene where a plumber removes the 186 beer cans clogging the toilet.

Who's J--...oh that's that "Drake and Josh" kid, right? See, I was repairing the Juvenile section yesterday. Yes, repairing, which is just as big a task as shelving.
"Mysterious" as in "Uncle Fat-finger wants you to sit on his lap. Again."

Man, I love Josh Peck. I love how he turned his career as a Nick kid into one of an actual, legitimate actor. And he's still adorable.

I love Carey Mulligan. I saw An Education and now I just feel like she's my little sister and I have to go see everything she does.

When will 'Daily Show' correspondents realize the low ceiling of their potential? Underachievement is the rule, not the exception.
Josh Peck's a quality actor, I hope he has a long career with indie films. Anyone else enjoy the irony that the once fad kid, pseudo-side kick on a Nick show now has a more stable career than his heartthrob counterpart? Heartthrob vanquished!
