Below is the latest True Blood webisode featuring two of my favorite characters, Tara Thornton (Rutina Wesley) and Lafayette Reynolds (Nelsan Ellis). Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Tara get into a bit of a “Your boyfriend is worse than mine!” contest and Lafayette inserts himself as “I’m not sure I give a shit” referee. After last season’s freak show with Maryann the maenad, and poor Lafayette’s imprisonment, I’m so glad to see their personalities back to normal. Oh, and Sookie’s in there too.

I watch True Blood mostly to see Tara... Smokin' hot, that one! Second only to Carla Gugino, if ya ask me.

Show itself isn't really that interesting other wise, tough. I mean, it's an o.k. show, but even the first season is kinda overrated.

Try to imagine that show without the skin & the fucking.

Me neither.

I love Tara a lot, and Lafayette is my favorite character on the show, but I feel like the second season was some character-assassinating fanfiction for the both of them. I hope like hell the third season gets back on the right track with them. This looks like a start.

I LOVE this. I missed Normal Tara so much, and Lafayette even more so, because he is fantastic.

I take issue with them calling deleted scenes from the last episode of S2 "minisodes". Thats some lazy shit right there.

Does this mean you're going to be doing True Blood recaps this season? If so great because last season was so insane my head about exploded and I had no one to vent to.

BTW, I wrote this after last season's really awful episode, "Frenzy". Fans may get a kick out of it.
