Mark Wahlberg Confused for Matt Damon by Fan, Delightfully Rolls With It
So, Wahlberg is not the brightest egg in the dozen, but the guy’s got a good heart, he’s likable, and he speaks his mind, even if his brain sometimes crosses wires. Yes, he dissed the ridiculous budget on The Lone Ranger and then justified the expense on Transformers 4 by claiming it has a “human element,” but the big ole’ lug is easy enough to forgive, especially after he was mistaken for Matt Damon by a fan and never corrected her. In fact, he posted the picture and text to his Facebook wall with the message: “Close enough.”
That’s classy. As for the fan? Well, if the only Wahlberg movie she’s ever seen in Shooter, I suppose she can be forgiven. But if she’s seen Wahlberg fingerbang Reese Witherspoon on a roller coaster in Fear, then that’s an egregious mistake.
