"Mad Men" Gets a Return Date, That Weasel Pete Campbell Already Bracing for Punches
EW is reporting that the sixth season of "Mad Men" is set to return on Sunday April 7th at 9 p.m., with a two-hour premiere, which of course will totally f*ck your already crowded Sunday nights, where Game of Thrones will be airing (it starts 03/31/13) and all the network's Sunday programming will be approaching their season finales. So, good luck watching all your water cool shows before they get spoiled for you on Monday morning.
In discussing the release date, Weiner also provided a few details on the sixth season, saying it is a reference to the entire last season, it will explore Don Draper's motivations, his internal conflicts, there's a storyline that may change Don irrevocably, and that the 13-episode sixth season will NOT be simply a set-up for the 13 episode seventh and final season.
Otherwise, we know nothing, but with just three months until the finale, we can look forward to the promotional tour, which means more interviews with Jon Hamm and more photoshoots with Christina Hendricks. Yes. I'm stoked. Finding images for "Mad Men" posts is one of the best perks of the job.
