Let the Invasion Begin

Timecrimes director Nacho Vigalondo has announced his next film, Extraterrestre (Alien). The director gave a plot description (translated by Sci Fi Latino) on his blog:
“Vigalondo writes that this will not be like a War of the Worlds with Tom Cruise, where a regular person manages to somehow closely witness all major invasion events. He writes that most people will experience a global alien invasion without even knowing it has happened, by listening to rumors, or engaging in pointless activities. Hence Extraterrestre.”
I like it — first of all it doesn’t involve Tom Cruise, so how can it go wrong? Secondly: creepy and foreign language are a great combination and Vigalondo has proven he knows how to mess with our minds. I have no idea what’s going on in the teaser poster, but really, isn’t that the point of a great teaser? The less you know, the more freaky things can go.
