…a cat.

No, he’s not an animated cat in some hip new Disney Pixar thing. No, he’s not a gorgeous, slinky, hand-drawn cat in the next Studio Ghibli film. He’s not even playing a cool cat, like Garfield (‘bout time for a remake, no?).

Instead, the Golden Globe and Emmy nominated actor, he of American Beauty, The Usual Suspects, L.A. Confidential, and the man who absolutely kills it as Frank Underwood, will star as “a workaholic businessman who suffers a terrible accident that leaves him trapped in the body of the family cat.” Described as a “high-concept comedy” (that means the dude who wrote it was smoking a fat blunt, right?), Nine Lives will be directed by Barry Sonnenfeld, whose last theater film was 2012’s Men in Black 3.

I must be missing something.
