Katie Holmes Is A Slutty Pumpkin And Now There's Photographic Evidence

Clearly under the impression that because Cobie Smulders also stars in Joss Whedon’s upcoming The Avengers, CBS believes that “How I Met Your Mother” is expected to drop sneak peeks of future episodes on the regular, as well. Earlier we learned that former Joey/Suri’s mom Katie Holmes had been cast in the cameo role of the Slutty Pumpkin, continuing the show’s trend on recruiting forgotten “Dawson’s Creek” alumni (thank you, Joanna). Now, TVLine provides us with some photos of the Slutty Pumpkin Naomi on-set and in-costume with Hanging Chad Ted, Apollo Creed Barney, and a Canuck Robin.

Yep, looks like a Halloween party on the roof of Ted and Robin’s building. The Slutty Pumpkin herself could stand to be a little “sluttier,” but I guess that wouldn’t be canon. At least we know that Holmes isn’t going to be the “Mother” Mother, as she’s only signed on to appear in the October 31st episode. Hey, that’s Halloween! It’s like they planned it.

Is anyone else really confused about what is happening with Cobie Smulders this season. I can tell she lost weight, but does the wardrobe/makeup person suddenly hate her. The hair, the clothes...it's like someone is trying to make her look really bad. Please tell me someone else is seeing this?

If it ends up being Robin, after all this goddamn time, and after her relationship to Barney, I'll be pissed.

Actually, I'm thinking Barney marries Robin, and Nora marries Ted (he's a trusty guy).

The slutty pumpkin costume isn't very slutty. I got the impression from the episode that it was more than that.
