Damn. FINALLY.

Chris...Hemsworth?

Whatever. I still can't wait.

Posted by: Jerce at December 2, 2011 7:41 PM

Ooooh, and it comes out on my birthday. Thank you Joss! In return I'll make him a bear. And not undo it.

I think they're taking the piss with that tagline. Does ANYONE actually think they know this film's storyline? All I've discerned is that...there's a cabin. Probably in the woods. That's about it.

Hey Rowles, I know you’re busy what with your business expansion and your coordinating of #OWS protest, and generally running around being an annoying liberal and all. But goddamnit, Capt. “Redlegs” Terrell died yesterday, and I think it is a shame that a man of his stature has not received the respect that he earned and deserved.

I'm interested to see this for two reasons. 1 - Whedon. 2 - A casting agency called me to ask if I was available for them to submit me for a role in it. So now I wanna see who ended up in it (never got called to read for it, but it's still cool that someone thought I was good enough to be on the list)

Posted by: KatSings at December 2, 2011 11:28 PM

1) Drew Goddard actually wrote some of the better late-season Buffy and Angel episodes. I'm pretty excited about this.

2) I didn't read the headline before looking at the poster, and my reaction was "oooh, neat," and then I read the headline and I was all "whoa, dude."

So, it's a Cube reboot?

Posted by: That French Guy at December 3, 2011 4:32 AM

Cube needs no rebooting or remaking. It's perfectly awesome as it is. But Vincenzo Natali needs to get off his ass and get the adaptation of Ballards "High Rise" made.

And The Cabin in the Woods? Yeah, I'm there.

Well, I won't post it here but if you go to IMDB and read the list of roles in the full cast listing, there are some very interesting characters listed. Since IMDB is wildy innacurate, I have to wonder if Joss is pulling our legs with some of the the roles to keep it a surprise as to what the plot is?

Posted by: Koolickle at December 3, 2011 10:22 AM

Well, anything by 'the writer of Cloverfield'....

WTF?

Posted by: Wembley at December 3, 2011 10:26 AM

I can't say anything about the movie, but that Rubik's Cube Cabin looks pretty neat!

I wonder if it could actually be built? Maybe we could ask one of the people who built THESE if it's feasible;

The entire script has been available for a little while online. It is certainly a different twist on the teenagers in the cabin genre. No spoilers here but you can read the whole thing online if you want to, and it is aninteresting read. Execution could go either way though..
