If you’re like me, you have an insatiable thirst for the details of world-building. I have spoiled so many sci-fi and fantasy epics for myself by diving into Wikipedia rabbit holes in an attempt to get as much info about their universes as I can. I knew who the Final Five Cylons were on Battlestar Galactica because I went to the “Cylon” page. I knew about the first major death in Game of Thrones because I looked up the famous families of Westeros. I even spoiled The Expanse on SyFy for myself just by trying to get a better idea of how the various space regions developed after humanity began colonizing the solar system.

If this sounds like you, get excited. In anticipation of the upcoming Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, J.K. Rowling is about to drop a whole new series of short stories on her Pottermore.com site that will detail the history of the Wizarding World’s version of North America. Starting tomorrow, March 8th at 9 a.m. EST, fans of the Harry Potter series will have the chance to peruse the first of these texts and get a glimpse of magic on this side of the pond for the first time.

If you don’t have your time turner handy, hopefully this announcement trailer released on Entertainment Weekly will be enough to hold you over for now.
