The delay was due to a studio marketing plan to cast the film as a comedic lead in to the election. Yep. It is a funny movie though. Very funny.

OK it looks like that little black girl is a good 1/3 of that movie but I DON'T EVEN KNOW HER NAME, but thank god they told me Ashley Green is in it, now for sure I have to check it out.

Oh, man. I've been looking forward to this movie for ages and ages. I hope it has TONS of wonderful Iowa footage to make me feel like I'm back at home!

My favorite part:"She obviously decided to play the race card." That said, f the veteran players (and Olivia's boobs) I'm watching it for The Orphan.

The perfect combination of Drop Dead Gorgeous and Butter is at the Minnesota State Fair where they have the Minnesota Dairy Princess Program for which the finalists, vying for the title of Princess Kay of the Milky Way, each have a portrait sculpture made. Out of butter.

I hear that they're deep frying embolisms this year!

A friend's trying to get me to go to NYS Fair, but unfortunately I'm moving next weekend. I did get a book on bacon for my birthday a few weeks ago though, so I'll console myself with that.

I did the fair once, ages ago - when I was about to start working in Auburn and the Clintons were convincing people they lived in New York.

DROP DEAD GORGEOUS MEETS ELECTION? Already sounds like my new favorite movie. ++ for Alicia Silverstone. I'm super sold on this.

This looks like the most fabulous movie of the year to me (with the "fabulous" said outloud with extra flair). I'm not a big fan of Garner's work, but she's a good absurdist comedienne (is that the right way to describe it?)

Okay, I'm biased, I love Olivia, damn it. She makes my lady parts confused, but she also looks hysterical in this. AND TY BURRELL.

I go to the State Fair every year, and I think it's just so incredibly fun that people will still line up and parade slowly past that refrigerated glass box to behold The Butter Cow. And I did think that the butter snow white was well done this year. It still doesn't beat the Butter Last Supper (which totally actually did happen, and was MARVELOUS).

Not really interested, though I must say, as much as I have a serious Hate Fuck going for Olivia Wilde, this may be the best thing she's ever done.

From early reviews, she's probably the funniest thing in this. Comedy (+ all the sexy) might just be her niche.
