Letojesusā„¢ would like you all to sit down; this may be a bit of a shocking moment. Following his 2013 Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, the actor formerly known as Jordan Catalano has taken to downplaying his serious side. With a fine eye for fashion,

and his penchant for photobombing,

we’ve come to expect a charming levity whenever Leto’s around, but I do believe those carefree days are coming to a close. The time to go dark has arrived, and Mr. Leto realized the seriousness of the situation. He was willing and ready to make the necessary sacrifice, as seen in this photo tweeted by Suicide Squad director, David Ayer:

I do hope you’re still seated though, as you’re not only about to get your first look at DC’s latest Joker, you’re also going to realize Leto hasn’t aged a day since he toyed with Angela Chase’s affections. Has Madonna been sharing her placenta-juice, or what?

Ayer was asked by a fan for one word to describe Leto’s Joker, and the director replied thusly:

We’d expect no less.

Suicide Squad stars Will Smith, Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney and Jesse Eisenberg; it’s due out August 5th, 2016. Production is in full swing as you can see on Ayer’s Twitter feed.

Cindy Davis, (Twitter) will always love Jordan Catalano and Letojesusā„¢.
