I Just Got A +4 to My Awesomeness

Felicia Day, you are so beautiful. “The Guild” is back, after the rollicking Season 3 run featuring that ubergeek we love to hate, Wil Wheaton as mega-dickhead Fox. Season 4 has already begun its run, so you can log in to check out the first two episodes. They showed us Episode 3, which features a painting that will undoubtedly be cropping up as Twitter avatars and Facebook profile pics. Words cannot express … it features Felicia Day and Wil Wheaton ala a romance novel cover.

And I tried finding the link, but it might not be up yet, for the “surprise music video” they sprung on the crowd. “Do You Wanna Date My Avatar?” has already been somewhat of a hit for the show, but this newest video, a unbelievably hilarious Bollywoodesque dance number blew my fucking mind. Even Wesley Crusher about lost his shit when he saw the video — bellowing in disbelief, “That was frakking awesome!” What better nerd blessing could I give?

Seasons 1 & 2 and Season 3 are available to watch instantly on Netflix. Season 4 continues to air online.

I would let Felicia Day roll my polyhedral dice (if you know what I mean), but she's not "beautiful", she's accessible. She's the neighbor kid you crank one out to instead of Chrissy from Three's Company, because it just seems more... possible.

I LOVE Felicia Day. And I love the Guild. I remember in some interview or another, she said she'd like to write video game plot-lines and I would be so down for that.

Here's a pic of that painting (from @theguild on twitter)

I would pass on accepting a Klondik Bar for Felicia Day.

I can't wait to see the new season specially with Wil Wheaton as a (semi) permanent add to the cast. He grew up to be such a hottie. *squeeee*

ZOMG! I want that painting! It's a Johanna Lindsey romance cover - only with better looking models!

I'm sorry, how have I not been informed of this web series sooner? I'm furiously going through season 1 and laughing. So, Party Down gets lots of talk round these parts but not The Guild? One makes me laugh; the other makes me feel bad for the cast.

The music video won't be online till Tuesday, and will be available for MP3 download later on.

Do not get them started, I beg you. But you'll find plenty of material in the archives.

Who isn't gonna hope for a ring after hearing that?

Sinnh it is Pajiba Law to know of Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. Godtopus has commanded it.

All Hail Godtopus.

She's definitely the cutest thing since hamsters. She's beautiful because she's honest, smart, funny and a geek. These things make her accessible, which is also a big plus.

Got Felicia to sign a Guild cast picture (in costume!) for me during Dragon*Con last year. Her handler/manager/boyfriend/whatever was kindof douchy, but SHE was wonderful, giddy, geeky and adorable. It was a great meeting, and I hope "The Guild" season 4 is at least as good as the last ones have been.

And yes, for those who have NOT seen "Dr. Horrible", get the to a nunnery. Or Netflix. Or buy it. Just do SOMETHING so you can learn why "it's a brand new day", willya?

Agreed, very well written and can't wait for the second half.

Thanks for the good read. We extremely enjoyed it! I don't usually comment on weblogs but this one truly was fascinating. I'll save with regard to later on.
