Is it that odd a choice?

I dunno. I mean, I know he has musical skills, and I know he can play the hell out of a drum set, but I’ve just never been a big fan of Fred Armisen. I like Portlandia, but I think I’d like a lot more with anyone other than Armisen, who seemed to overstay his welcome on Saturday Night Live. I do appreciate the loyalty everyone on that show has for one another, however, and Armisen must be a better guy than his ex-wife Elisabeth Moss has implied.

Unfortunately, when I think of Armisen as bandleader, all I can think of is him doing his Lawrence Welk impression every night.

Anyway, according to Seth Meyers’ twitter account, “Fred will curate and lead the band, and continue to run it even when he’s off shooting Portlandia,” so there’s no concern about Armisen ditching his show to be on Meyers’.

Here's some Daveed Diggs for you. On Daveed Diggs' digs, actually. That man does things with clothes that should not make sense, but are absolutely perfect. (Go Fug Yourself)

Woody Allen has "so moved on" from his daughter's accusations and says he never even thinks about it. He equates her words about him to a bad review he won't read and comments on how wacky it is that Mia Farrow is his mother-in-law. He is the worst. (Celebitchy)

Not The Worst but still very gross: Leonardo DiCaprio and his Pussy Posse Wolf Pack were on the douche prowl in NYC. (Lainey)

Here are 5 under-the-radar shows. I had never even heard of the first two. (Uproxx)
